About

The Wall Art you see on this website is handmade, with care, by me using limited runs of colour, pattern and colour combinations.

My inspiration comes mainly from the colour, pattern and motifs found on the paper and fabric I use. You will find that I have a preference for Asian and retro themes.

Because my name is on my product I only sell what I love and would have on my own walls.

My Story

The idea for my wall art was a result of the cliché that I couldn't find what I wanted so had to make it myself.

I wanted something for my daughter's bedroom wall that wasn't too girly, matching or pink.

I ended up having to develop a way to combine two ideas that I liked - the tangibility of wooden shapes and the combination of texture, pattern and colour of patchwork quilts.

It was at this time that I was lucky enough to know the management team of a local joinery firm who were not only happy to cut the shapes I wanted, but were also willing to develop the idea.

My first shapes are my butterfly shapes, but not wanting to be limited to children's rooms; we have moved onto ring sets, disc sets and will soon be releasing swallow shapes.

About Me
